What Drives Us

Organizing care for a parent or family member is rarely straightforward. Families need to know who’s entering their home, what a typical day looks like, and that someone’s available when something unexpected pops up. We built our entire approach around answering those worries. Our caregivers spend time getting to know each person; their daily routines, their likes, and what helps them feel comfortable. We don’t believe in standard packages that fit everyone. We sit down with your family, understand what’s actually required, and put together a care plan designed specifically for your loved one. Whether you’re in Moody Centre, Newport Village, Heritage Mountain, or Heritage Woods, we’re here whenever you need us.

What We Believe

Individual-focused care: No two people are identical. We listen carefully before making any recommendations and build the support plan from what we learn about your family member.

Real compassion: The caregivers we send aren’t just finishing tasks. They develop genuine relationships with the people they help, and that changes everything day to day.

Keeping families informed: You’ll know what’s happening at every stage of your loved one’s care. We communicate regularly and follow up so you’re never left wondering. Learn more about our care team here.

Staff you can trust: Every caregiver gets screened, reference-checked, and cleared with a criminal record check before coming through your door. Then they receive ongoing training to ensure care quality stays strong.

Home Care in Port Moody

Port Moody sits at the end of the Burrard Inlet, a growing community with a diverse and expanding senior population. Families throughout Moody Centre, Newport Village, Heritage Woods, and Ioco reach out to us when a loved one needs more support at home but isn’t ready to move to a care facility; or simply prefers to stay where they are. Port Moody’s multicultural character is exactly why our multilingual services matter so much here. Being able to match your loved one with a caregiver who speaks their language isn’t just a nice extra; it’s often what makes care feel comfortable and sustainable. We work with families throughout the city and we’re available around the clock whenever you need to reach us.

What Families Usually Come to Us With

The families we hear from in Port Moody are usually dealing with one of a few situations: a loved one has just been discharged from Eagle Ridge Hospital or Royal Columbian and needs help recovering at home; a senior in Glenayre or Anmore has been managing alone but things have slowly become harder; or a family member is coordinating care from out of town and needs a reliable local team they can count on. We also work with families who are supporting a loved one through dementia or end-of-life care and need more consistent help than they can provide on their own. Whatever the situation, we start with a free in-home assessment at no obligation. We come to you, we listen, and we build a care plan around what we find. If you’d like to read through common questions first, our FAQ page covers a lot of what families ask us before getting started.
